Magnolia "Black Beauty" is a spectacular compact variety with some of the darkest flowers among magnolias. Its large fragrant flowers with purple-burgundy petals and a light creamy center resemble exotic birds, creating a luxurious accent in the garden. It blooms later than most varieties, which reduces the risk of damage from spring frosts. The tree grows up to 2.5–4 m, is highly frost-resistant (up to -29 °C) and suitable for small plots. It prefers sunny or semi-shady locations, loose slightly acidic soils with good drainage, regular watering and mulching. Pruning is only required for light crown shaping, and fertilizing should be moderate.

Good size for the price, arrived looking fresh and healthy. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but the whole order went smoothly.

Doniczka i pędy były podparte osobno.

The packaging was excellent and the young tree survived the trip perfectly. Nice to see such an unusual variety available to order online. Can't wait to watch it grow over the coming years.

Produkty pozostały przypisane do właściwych grup. Przy internetowym zamówieniu roślin było to uspokajające.

The roots and upper growth appeared balanced on arrival. The leaves that were present had not been badly rubbed in transit. The root area was moist without being waterlogged.

A etiqueta identificava claramente Magnolia "Black Beauty".

The parcel was packed neatly rather than filled at random. The variety I wanted to inspect first was Magnolia "Black Beauty". The wrapping came away cleanly during unpacking.
