Description

Muscari armeniacum "Manon" - this is a two-tone fragrant flower. The diameter of the inflorescence reaches up to 2 cm, and its height – up to 5-7 cm. The inflorescence consists of very small barrel-shaped flowers, endowed with a sweet musky aroma. This muscari variety differs from others in its two-tone coloring of the buds. All buds consist of one solid petal with wavy frills along the edge.

In the case of the upper buds, the light frills merge with the same white bud. From the center to the bottom of the inflorescence are blue buds with a prominent white ruffle. Large muscari buds open much earlier, giving an unusual aroma.

Planting (Muscari Manon)
The Manon variety does not limit the gardener's imagination. It can be grown in pots and containers, as well as in rock gardens, alpine slides, and green areas.

Planting time. Muscari Manon is a frost-resistant plant, but after planting, the plant needs time to adapt, so the variety is recommended to be planted until the end of October.

Planting location. The colorful flower loves sunny, flat or elevated locations. The soil can be of any type, but it must be well-drained and fertilized.

Planting depth. Small bulbs require a planting depth of 5-7 cm.

Care. The variety loves moisture. However, water should not stagnate in the soil, so muscari should be watered little and often. Otherwise, the variety is unpretentious. It does not require digging up for winter and is capable of obtaining nutrients from the soil.
