Narcissus "Bridal Crown" is a hybrid plant that initially looks quite ordinary. In April, green shoots already stand above the ground, and a delicate flower stalk is ready to present its bud to the gardener's eager gaze. And when the bud finally opens, it's impossible to take your eyes off the flower. The enchanting bloom is complemented by a sweet aroma with a slight musky hint.
The bud is a cup of rounded petals, which is filled with their soft, miniature copies. The crown of the bud is small, surrounded by the main petals. It stands out only due to its bright yellow color. Flowering ends in May.
- Flowering period: April-May.
- Height: 30 cm.
- Flower diameter: up to 15 cm.
- Flower shape: cup-shaped, multi-flowered.
- Color: cream with a yellow crown.
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded location for planting. Before planting in open ground, after loosening, mineral and organic fertilizers are applied to the soil.
In dry weather, they need watering. Narcissi grow in one place for up to 5 years. For transplanting, bulbs are dug up in August, sorted, dried in the shade, and planted in a new location.
