Narcissus "Canaliculatus" is one of the best early-flowering varieties, belonging to the Tazetta Narcissus group.
The perianth segments are creamy white, and the corona is a rich yellow, which fades later. A single scape produces several small flowers gathered in one cluster (up to 5 pieces). The flower size is about 2.5 cm in diameter.
This variety has a long flowering period (blooms for 2-3 weeks). The flowers have a pleasant sweet fragrance. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. This narcissus is perfect for rock gardens, alpine slides, and borders. It looks beautiful in containers. It combines excellently with Siberian squill, muscari, dwarf tulips, and other low-growing bulbous plants. For a greater effect, this variety is best planted in groups. It is a hardy plant. The plant height does not exceed 15 cm. Flowering period - March-April.
