Description

Narcissus "Dutch Master" - is one of the best early-flowering varieties that belongs to the Trumpet group. It was bred in 1948. Grows up to 40 cm in height. The corona is equal to or slightly longer than the perianth segments (petals): usually by a third. The perianth segments are oval, with pointed ends, lemon-colored. The corona (trumpet) is wide, with a wavy edge, bright yellow in color.

Flowers are positioned horizontally. There is one flower stalk. Flower size – up to 12 cm in diameter. It is perfectly suited for flower beds, for planting under trees, and for growing in containers. Looks excellent in combination with other spring-flowering plants (tulips, muscari, violets). Ideal for obtaining cut flowers of the highest quality, not only in open ground but also for forcing. This variety has a long flowering period (up to three weeks) and a subtle fragrance. Grows well in full sun or partial shade. Flowering period – mid-spring. This variety has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
