Description

Narcissus "Minnow" is one of the best early-flowering varieties, belonging to the Tazetta group. The perianth segments are creamy white, and the corona is pale yellow, later fading to a creamy color. One flower stalk produces several small flowers gathered in a single bouquet (up to 5 pieces). The size of the flowers is about 2.5 cm in diameter. This variety has a long flowering period (blooms for 2-3 weeks) and a wonderful aroma.

They are perfect for rockeries, alpine slides, borders, and for growing in containers. They combine perfectly with muscari, dwarf tulips, and other low-growing bulbous plants. A hardy plant. The height of the plant does not exceed 20 cm. Flowering period - early spring.

It grows best in sunny areas but tolerates light partial shade. Requires fertile, well-drained soil. It does not tolerate waterlogging, which can lead to bulb rot. Bulbs are planted in autumn (September - November) at a depth two to three times their size (approximately 10-15 cm). Moderate watering during the period of active growth and flowering. After flowering, the leaves should not be cut until they are completely yellow, as at this time the bulb accumulates nutrients for the next season.
