Narcissus "Rip van Winkle" is a very compact plant. The flower first develops several sword-shaped leaves, and then reveals heavy yellow heads. Despite the brightness of the buds, their aroma is very delicate, herbaceous-sugary. The large, heavy heads of the narcissus are perfectly supported by sturdy, light green peduncles.
- Flowering period: May-June.
- Height: 20 cm.
- Flower diameter: up to 15 cm.
- Flower shape: simple, open.
- Color: bright yellow.
Peduncles are removed after flowering, while leaves are left. In dry weather, they need watering. They grow in one place for up to 5 years. For transplanting, bulbs are dug up in August, sorted, dried in the shade, and planted in a new location.
