Physocarpus opulifolius "Dart's Gold" is a vibrant ornamental variety of ninebark, distinguished by its rich golden-yellow foliage, abundant flowering, and high unpretentiousness. Thanks to its expressive coloration, the shrub remains decorative from early spring to late autumn and is widely used for creating hedges, color accents, and landscape compositions.
Decorative features
The main advantage of the variety is its bright golden-yellow foliage, which unfurls in early spring and retains its rich color throughout the season. In summer, the leaves take on a soft lime-green hue, and in autumn, they turn warm golden and bronze tones.
In late spring, the shrub is covered with numerous dense corymbose inflorescences of white or slightly creamy-pink color. The flowers have a light pleasant aroma and stand out strikingly against the bright foliage.
After flowering, decorative inflated fruits form, gradually changing color from greenish to reddish-brown. They remain on the shrub for a long time, adding to its appeal.
The shrub is dense, well-branched, with a spreading rounded crown and decorative exfoliating bark, which looks particularly striking in winter.

Il materiale vegetale sembrava fresco all'apertura.
