Description

Quercus palustris "Green Pillar" is a decorative columnar variety of pin oak with a narrow, upright crown and dense, dark green foliage. Thanks to its compact form, high winter hardiness, and striking autumn color, this variety is ideal for avenues, small gardens, and modern landscape projects.

Decorative Features

The main feature of the variety is its slender, columnar crown, which maintains a neat shape without regular pruning. Vertically directed branches form a dense silhouette, allowing the tree to take up minimal space.

The leaves are deeply lobed, shiny, and rich green throughout the season. In autumn, they turn vibrant red, burgundy, and bronze tones, creating a striking accent in the garden.

In spring, the tree is adorned with small yellowish-green catkins, and later small acorns may form.
