Ranunculus asiaticus "Aviv" Red - is a representative of one of the most decorative species of the Ranunculaceae family.
The plant is about 40 cm high, harmoniously combined with other varieties forming orange and white buds. The leaf blades are green, dissected into segments.
Flowering is accompanied by a pleasant, but weak aroma, and is highly decorative. The color of the petals is rich red with a fiery red hue. Several rose-like double buds bloom on each shoot, one reaching 10 cm in diameter when fully open. Flowering occurs in June-July.
Planting:
Bulbs are planted in loose, well-drained soil in sun or light partial shade. In cold climates, spring planting ensures summer flowering. For good growth, uniform moisture is needed without waterlogging.
