Description
Ribes uva-crispa - is a perennial berry shrub of the Gooseberry family, reaching a height of 1.2–1.5 m. The leaves are small, three- or five-lobed, and the shoots of most varieties have thorns. It blooms with small greenish or pinkish flowers.
The fruits are juicy, round or oval berries with characteristic veins. Depending on the variety, they can be green, yellow, red, or dark purple and have a pleasant sweet and sour taste. The berries are eaten fresh and used to make jams, preserves, compotes, and desserts.
Gooseberry prefers sunny locations, fertile, moderately moist, and well-drained soil. Care includes watering, fertilizing, and regular pruning. Under favorable conditions, the bush can actively bear fruit for up to 15–20 years.

Le gemme visibili erano integre. Nulla appariva schiacciato, rotto o troppo secco.

I was a bit worried during shipping, but the berry plant arrived in great shape. Happy to find a nursery stocking such interesting varieties. Looking forward to the first harvest, hopefully next year.
