Description
Scilla siberica is one of the brightest and most popular early spring bulbous perennials, which blooms simultaneously with the first primroses, filling the garden with rich blue hues. Thanks to its compact size and abundant flowering, the plant is perfect for rock gardens, alpine slides, lawn decoration, tree circles, and decorative garden compositions.
The plant forms short flower stalks 10–15 cm high with elegant bell-shaped bright blue flowers gathered in loose inflorescences. Flowering begins in March–April and creates a striking spring accent in the garden. Each bulb develops 3–4 narrow, bright green leaves about 1 cm wide and up to 20 cm long, giving the plant a neat decorative appearance. The flower stalks are suitable for creating small spring bouquets. The bulbs overwinter well in open ground and are highly frost-resistant.
Planting. Prefers semi-shaded locations. The plant prefers loose soil, which includes organic-rich soil and leaf mold. If possible, add forest soil with bark and leaves to the garden soil for planting. The soil should be slightly moist. Waterlogging should not be allowed. The soil should be light and drain well. Planting depth should not exceed 5-6 cm. The distance between flowers should be slightly more, about 10 cm.
Care. It is necessary to fertilize with mineral substances: potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen. In autumn, it is better to fertilize with granular or slow-release fertilizers, and in spring with liquid ones. The plant can be left unfertilized, but in this case, it will be weak, and flowering will not be as lush. Water during drought. Scilla siberica can grow in one place for more than 5 years.

Strefa korzeniowa była wilgotna, ale nie przemoczona. Korzenie i część nadziemna wyglądały proporcjonalnie. Dało mi to pewność, że zamówienie zostało sprawdzone.

I only check moisture and leave the plant undisturbed. The plant is now in place, but it is too early for a final judgment. There is no reason to force a quick assessment.

The stems remained firm instead of drooping further. The planting material stayed stable during the first days. That was enough to leave a good first impression.
