The outer box was still in good shape. My order reached me without an unnecessary delay. Nothing suggested that the parcel had been left waiting for long.

Description
«Evergold» is a decorative sedge: a bright garden element where naturalness combines with a neat shape and expressive texture. Its evergreen foliage or needles retain rich green tones and maintain the ornamental appeal of the planting all year round. As an adult, the plant typically reaches 0.3–0.6 m in height and about 0.4–0.7 m in width, so its future scale is easy to consider when planning planting.
The variety best reveals its decorative qualities with a correctly chosen location and stable, but not excessive, care. Optimal lighting — sun or partial shade. Soil — moist, well-drained. Watering — moderate. Frost resistance — high, about -15…-25 °C.
In garden design, the plant is valued for its plasticity and ability to harmoniously support various planting styles. Best use scenarios — mixed borders, mass plantings, structural plantings, containers. The main advantages of «Evergold» are year-round decorativeness, good winter hardiness, suitability for container growing, compact shape, and expressive foliage texture. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: deciduous grasses are cut back in late winter; evergreen sedges are combed through and lightly cleaned.

First time buying from this nursery and I'm impressed already. Already a dense little clump with healthy fresh blades.

I had selected Sedge ‘Evergold’ for this delivery. The first watering was absorbed normally after the journey. So far, routine care has been enough.

The root area was moist without being waterlogged. The plant arrived without visible transport damage. I found no obvious weak point while unpacking it.
