Description

Tulip "Akebono" - is an exclusive tulip variety belonging to the double group and attracts attention with its bright color and lush multi-petal flowers 6–10 cm in diameter. The plant reaches about 45 cm in height and is especially valued for cutting, allowing you to create spectacular bouquets and decorate interiors. In the garden, these tulips become an expressive accent thanks to their large flowers and long-lasting decorative effect.

For planting, it is recommended to choose sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile, well-drained, neutral or slightly alkaline soil. Bulbs are planted in autumn at a depth of 7–15 cm depending on their size. The variety is characterized by good frost resistance, but does not tolerate stagnant moisture. During active growth, it requires moderate watering, and after flowering, it is recommended to remove the seed pods, keeping the leaves until they completely wither. In one place, plants can successfully grow and bloom for up to 5 years.
