Description
Tulipa "Apricot Parrot" - this variety has high decorative properties, which allows it to be widely used in floristry, as these flowers can create an amazing bouquet.
The Apricot Parrot tulip reaches a height of about 60 cm. The juicy, straight flower stalk produces a fantastically beautiful bud, which, as it opens, turns into a goblet-shaped flower. The Apricot Parrot tulip is called 'parrot' because of the characteristic shape of its petals - corrugated, with torn edges, resembling parrot feathers. The color of the petals is no less interesting. You can see a whole palette of colors on them: green, apricot, and white shades combine very effectively.
Tulips prefer sunny, wind-protected areas with light, well-drained, non-acidic soil. Before planting, humus (up to 10 kg/m²) is applied; fresh manure should not be used. Bulbs are planted in September – early October: small ones to a depth of 7–10 cm, large ones up to 15 cm, leaving 10–20 cm between them. When planting, it is recommended to add a layer of sand for drainage.
Tulips are frost-resistant but do not tolerate water stagnation. During dry periods, they require watering. After flowering, remove the ovaries, and leave the leaves until they completely wither. In July–August, bulbs are dug up, dried, and stored until planting at a gradually decreasing temperature. For winter, plantings are mulched with peat or compost. Tulips can grow in one place for up to 5 years.

Mon colis contenait Tulipa "Apricot Parrot".

The early response after planting has been calm and even. There was no sudden drying after it was placed in the soil. I would be comfortable ordering another variety this way.
