Description

Tulipa "Banja Luka" are blood-red tulips. Their flower stalks reach a considerable height (usually 60-70 cm), and the petals are in red, yellow, and orange colors. The stems are rigid. They bloom in early May.

This variety is undemanding. An important element of its planting is the type of soil. The most suitable in this case will be soil rich in nutrients, permeable, with a large amount of humus. Furthermore, it should not be too compacted. It can be grown in full sun, partial shade, and shade. Plant the tulip individually using a trowel or with a special bulb planter. For planting, choose a spot in a border or create a new flower bed. Prepare good soil and plant the bulbs in groups, at least six bulbs, or spread about 25-50 bulbs evenly along the garden border. The earliest week for forcing is 44.
