Description

Tulip "Candy Club" - this is a flower that reaches up to 50 cm in height. Unlike other varieties, it has several flowers on the stem: usually, a bulb produces 4-5 pieces. By planting one bulb of this variety, you immediately get a whole bouquet of spring flowers. Therefore, it is a real find for the garden! The main flower-bearing stem is branched into several smaller secondary stems, each crowned with a flower. The flowers in the "bouquet" are distributed as follows: one large – "daddy", one medium – "mommy", and several small flowers – their "children". They are single, cup-shaped. The leaves are sword-shaped, green, slightly wavy at the edges. The bulb is round. It consists of 2-5 closed fleshy scales. 

They do not make any special demands on the soil, but grow best in humus-rich soil with a neutral, slightly acidic, or slightly alkaline reaction. In addition, the soil must be well-drained. The plant does not tolerate waterlogging. Bulbs should be planted in autumn. Planting time: September-October. Small bulbs are planted to a depth of 6-10 cm, large ones - to a depth of 11-15 cm. Before planting, they must be treated with a fungicide by soaking. Withered flowers should be removed in spring, but the leaves and stem should be left until completely dry. In hot weather, the plant requires moderate watering. Bulbs should be dug up in June-July. They can also overwinter in open ground.
