Tulipa "China Town" - this is an exceptionally beautiful plant! The flower is multi-colored: green, white and pink with a white upper leaf edge. The petals (perianth segments) are long and wide, with rounded tips, slightly bending outwards. They form a peculiar goblet. The flowers open in late spring (second half of May). They emit a sweet aroma. The leaves are grayish-green, linear or broadly ovate. The height of this tulip is 30 cm.
Tulips need to be fertilized. The size of the bulbs and the abundance of their flowering will depend on this. Carry out the first feeding in spring, as soon as shoots appear. Apply a complex mineral fertilizer in the rows at a depth of 10-12 cm. Two weeks later, water the soil with liquid mullein with the addition of potassium chloride and superphosphate (20 g per bucket of water). Carry out the third feeding during flowering, with the same solution as before. Plant the bulbs in autumn, from September to November, at a depth of 15 cm and a distance of 10 cm. As soon as flowering ends, it is best to remove the flower stalks so as not to exhaust the plant.
