Description

Tulip "Continental" - is a truly "black" glossy, stately, and elegant tulip that will become the "highlight" of your garden. This variety has all the characteristic features of the Triumph class to which it belongs.

Plant height: 40-50 cm.
Flower diameter: 7-9 cm.
Flower color: dark burgundy.
Leaf color: green.
Flowering period: April-May.

The plant prefers light sandy loamy soils with good drainage (waterlogging is unacceptable to avoid root rot). Planting is carried out in late autumn. It is recommended to change the planting site after 4-5 years. In some climatic zones, it makes sense to lift the bulbs annually, dry them, and store them until the next planting in a cool, well-ventilated room. It has a good propagation rate and is suitable for forcing.
