Description

Tulipa cretica 'Hilde' — is a charming miniature botanical tulip, originating from a wild species on the island of Crete. This compact plant, 15–25 cm tall, is characterized by abundant flowering, forming up to 2–3 elegant star-shaped flowers on a single stem. In buds, the petals are pure white, and when open, they acquire a delicate light pink hue with a subtle pink blush on the outer side. The variety blooms in mid to late spring, boasts high winter hardiness, and is resistant to temperature fluctuations. Tulipa cretica 'Hilde' is perfectly suited for rock gardens, alpine slides, container cultivation, and sunny garden areas with well-drained soil. This unpretentious plant can grow in one place for many years without annual digging, retaining its decorative appeal and natural charm.
