Tulipa "First Love" is a stunning dwarf tulip, reaching a height of 20-30 cm. It belongs to the Botanical Tulips group, Greig's class.

The two-tone flowers truly create a magical effect thanks to their bright yellow and red vertical stripes. Very beautiful! They bloom just as nature awakens from its winter sleep.

Bulbs are planted appropriately in a prepared location from mid-September to late October. If a warm winter is expected, planting can be done until December. Avoid heavy, clayey, and marshy soils. The optimal temperature for good bulb rooting is 6-10°C. Therefore, bulbs should be planted when the soil temperature at a depth of about 15 cm reaches these values. Small bulbs are deepened to a depth of 6-10 cm, large ones to a depth of 11-15 cm. Note that Greig's tulips can remain in the soil for several years, while other groups should be dug up annually and stored in a dry place. Also, do not forget that potted plants need good drainage, as stagnant moisture in the substrate can lead to bulb rot.
