Description

Tulipa "Green Mile" — an elegant and rare lily-flowered variety, attracting attention with an unusual combination of bright colors and a graceful flower shape. Its narrow, pointed petals of rich yellow are adorned with expressive bright green veins and stripes, creating a striking contrast and emphasizing the refined silhouette of the bud. Thanks to its unusual coloring and characteristic lily-flowered shape, the variety looks especially decorative both in the garden and as a cut flower.

The variety belongs to the Lily-flowered tulip group and is characterized by late flowering. The plants form strong flower stalks 45–60 cm high, making them an excellent choice for decorating spring flower beds, mixborders, and creating stylish floral compositions. The flowers retain their decorative qualities for a long time and look great both in single and group plantings.

For planting bulbs, it is recommended to choose sunny areas, protected from strong winds, with well-drained, fertile soil of neutral reaction. The optimal planting time is September–October, when the soil temperature drops to +10 °C. The variety has high frost resistance and successfully overwinters in open ground without additional shelter, delighting annually with spectacular and prolonged flowering.
