Description

Tulipa humilis "Norah" is a charming miniature botanical tulip, valued for its abundant flowering, vibrant coloration, and ability to form picturesque flowering clumps over time. Compact plants, only 10–15 cm high, bloom in early spring, usually in April, revealing delicate star-shaped flowers of a rich pink-fuchsia hue. The center of the flower features a striking blue-purple base, surrounded by a light halo, creating a striking contrast. On the outer side, the petals may have a slight silvery-green tint. This variety is perfect for rock gardens, alpine slides, borders, and container cultivation. Tulipa humilis 'Norah' prefers sunny areas or light partial shade and well-drained soil without water stagnation. Bulbs are planted in autumn at a depth of 8–10 cm. The plant is unpretentious, highly winter-hardy, and does not require annual digging up; it becomes even more spectacular each year due to natural spreading.
