Tulipa "Ice Cream Cranberry" - this is one of the most spectacular and fantastic varieties that cannot be confused with any other. Its unique flower looks like a dessert in a glass: the lower outer petals are rich burgundy with a raspberry undertone, dense and rounded, forming a “cup” from which a red, almost creamy center grows. It is this “cap” of inner petals that gives the flower the appearance of ice cream with berry syrup – hence the name.
A low but very dense bush looks luxurious even on its own, and in group plantings it transforms a flowerbed into a real art object. Ideal for containers, borders, the foreground of flower beds, as well as combining with contrasting tulips or delicate spring flowers.
The variety is frost-resistant (up to –25°C), prefers sunny areas with light, well-drained soil. It requires minimal care, but definitely deserves a place in your garden due to its exclusive appearance.
