Tulipa "Love Valley" is a spectacular late double variety, striking with lush "peony-like" flowers of rich red color with a characteristic yellow-green flame in the center. Each flower, 10–12 cm in diameter, consists of many petals, forming a dense spherical shape that holds up well even in the rain. The variety is ideal for creating bright spring accents in flowerbeds, borders, containers, and for cutting – bouquets last up to 12–14 days.
The tulip is moderately frost-resistant (zone 3–8, up to -35 °C). It prefers sunny areas and fertile, well-drained soils (pH 6–7). Bulbs are soaked for 2–4 hours, planted at a depth of 12–15 cm with an interval of 10–12 cm. Care: moderate watering, feeding with phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, mulching. The variety is disease-resistant.
