Tulipa "Mariage" is a flower that belongs to the peony-shaped and multi-flowered family. The height of the plants is 50 cm, the tulip stems are strong and elastic, and the leaves are bright green and elongated. The flowers are voluminous, dense, consisting of a large number of delicate pink petals 5-10 cm in diameter. The period of active flowering is April-May. The plant is fragrant. The flowers have a delicate intoxicating aroma.
The root system of tulips is represented by bulbs. They should be planted in loamy or sandy soil in open areas with direct sun. Before planting, the soil should be fertilized for better growth. The planting depth of the bulbs is 5-10 cm, the optimal distance between flowers is 15 cm. Tulips like a moderate amount of moisture and need watering during dry periods. For longer flowering, the plants need to be regularly fed. The variety is resistant to low temperatures (frost resistance zone - 3-4).
Can be grown both in open areas and in pots. In the latter case, the plants need to be additionally fertilized with fertilizers and minerals. The flowers of this variety are also used for cut flower cultivation. Bouquets of double tulips last a long time in water, look fresh, and store well.
