Description

Tulip "Parade Design" - this is a variety of rich red color with a satin sheen. Inside the cup, there is usually a black base with a thin yellow rim.
The flower size is very large, cup-shaped. The goblet height can reach 10 cm, and when fully open, the flower can be up to 15 cm in diameter. It has a strong stem 60 cm high, which makes it resistant to wind and rain. The flowering period is usually April – early May.

Advantages of the variety:
Durability: thanks to its belonging to Darwin hybrids, the variety is highly resilient and capable of retaining varietal characteristics for several years without annual digging.
Forcing: this is one of the best varieties for commercial forcing for March 8th, as it has a high yield of first-class cut flowers and keeps well in bouquets.
Decorativeness: in the sun, the flowers can open wide, resembling poppies, but in the evening and in cloudy weather, they close again into a dense cup.
