Tulipa -Parrot Tulip Mix- is a spectacular blend of luxurious parrot tulips that attract attention with their unusual flower shape and vibrant palette of shades. Their large petals have characteristic fringed, wavy, and curved edges, making the flowers resemble exotic tropical birds with lush plumage. The plants reach a height of 40–60 cm and form strong flower stalks, although particularly large flowers may sometimes require additional support. The diameter of a fully opened flower exceeds 10 cm, and the goblet height is about 10–11 cm. Flowering lasts about two weeks and is accompanied by a pleasant sweet aroma. Gray-green leaves effectively emphasize the rich multi-colored and monochromatic shades of the buds, the intensity of which can change depending on weather conditions. Parrot tulips are perfect for flowerbeds, mass plantings, container compositions, and cutting, looking especially impressive in large groups. For successful cultivation, the plants need sunny but cool areas with light, fertile, well-drained soil rich in humus. After flowering, it is recommended to remove faded buds, and yellowed leaves and bulbs can be left to overwinter in the ground or dug up in June–July for storage until the next planting.
