Description

Tulipa "Salmon Impression" is a mid-flowering variety that belongs to the Darwin Hybrid class.  It was bred in 2000. The flowers are simple, 8-9 cm high. Their shape is goblet-shaped. Their color is coral-apricot with a warm pink glow and pale marble-pink petal edges. The flower stalks are strong. Plant height: up to 50 cm. Flowering time: April-May.

This variety is planted in flower beds and borders, grown for cut flowers. It is also ideal for decorating balconies. The plant will re-bloom year after year if properly cared for. It thrives in full sun, in soil that is not too heavy and has been thoroughly cultivated. The distance between bulbs should be about 15 cm.  

In spring, the soil should be thoroughly cultivated. Fertilizers are recommended to be applied 2-3 times in August (consumption 30-40 g per square meter). When the plants begin to fade, the stamens and pistil should be removed. This procedure prevents the spread of diseases and promotes bulb growth.
