Description

Tulip "Scarlet Baby" - this plant has thin, star-shaped petals, pointed at the tips, some arranged in two tiers. The color is red, the center is yellow. Due to its unusual shape and wide opening petals, the flower appears quite voluminous. The leaves of the plant are dark green with small specks or purple stripes. 

Main characteristics:
  • height: up to 20 cm;
  • goblet height: 5 cm;
  • flowering period: end of March – beginning of April. 

The stem is strong, reliably holding the bud. This variety is a good choice for decorative flowerbeds and rockeries, as it is undemanding in care.
Choose a sunny planting spot: during growth and flowering, the plant should receive sufficient heat. The soil should be moderately moist – without water stagnation. The optimal temperature for planting flowers is 7-10 degrees, the planting period is the second half of September – all of October.
