Description

Tulipa "Worlds Favourite" - This is an elegant tulip from the Darwin Hybrid class (Division 4). The flower is orange-red with a yellow edge. Extremely strong and durable! It exudes a wonderful fragrance. Therefore, it is a public favourite.

The flowers are single, beautifully shaped. The petals are wide, blunt-tipped, with a satiny texture. The flower stems are thick, strong, and straight. The flowers are fragrant. Flowering time is mid-spring. Flowering lasts two weeks or more. The plant height is 40–60 cm.

Tulips are very easy to grow. Simply plant the bulbs this autumn in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and expect a great miracle next spring. The bulbs should be dug up every 3–4 years; they do not need to be disturbed annually. Dry bulbs are best stored in a dry, well-ventilated area. It is necessary to periodically review them and discard diseased and damaged specimens in time. Whether the bulb will bloom in spring depends on proper storage. The earliest week for forcing is week 47.
