Description
Veronica "Purpleicious" spicata is a compact and profusely flowering variety of spiked speedwell with dense, upright inflorescences of a rich purplish-violet hue. It is characterized by prolonged flowering, high winter hardiness, and unpretentiousness, making it perfect for sunny flower beds, borders, and container cultivation.
The main decoration of the variety is its slender, spike-like inflorescences of bright purplish-violet color, which rise above the compact green foliage. The flowers open gradually from bottom to top, allowing the plant to maintain its ornamental appeal for several weeks.
The bush is dense, neat, with strong upright shoots and lanceolate dark green leaves. Flowering begins in June and continues until August. After removing withered inflorescences, re-flowering is possible.
