Description
Wisteria floribunda "Rosea" - is an elegant variety of Japanese wisteria with long, pendulous clusters of delicate pink fragrant flowers. During flowering, the vine forms luxurious cascades of inflorescences, transforming pergolas, arches, and gazebos into impressive flowering compositions. Thanks to its delicate color and long flowering period, this variety is considered one of the most decorative among pink-flowered wisterias.
The main advantage of the variety is its long, drooping racemes, 30–50 cm in length, consisting of numerous butterfly-like flowers. The buds have a rich pink color, and the opened flowers acquire a delicate light pink hue with a slight lilac tint.
The inflorescences have a pleasant sweet aroma and attract bees, bumblebees, and other pollinating insects.
The leaves are large, odd-pinnate, rich green, maintaining their decorative appearance throughout the season, and turning golden-yellow in autumn.
As it ages, the vine forms powerful, picturesquely intertwined shoots that give the plant decorative appeal even in winter.
