Description
Allium "Chameleon" is an unusual ornamental onion with a striking color change, thanks to which it got its name. Its spherical inflorescences consist of many small flowers that gradually change their shade from soft pink to more intense, creating a dynamic visual effect in the flowerbed. The height of the plant usually reaches 50-70 cm, which makes it versatile.
Flowering occurs in late spring - early summer, when the garden especially needs bright accents. The inflorescences hold their shape well and retain their decorative appeal for a long time, even after flowering, which makes the variety valuable for dry bouquets.
The variety is unpretentious and drought-resistant, prefers sunny places and well-drained soils. It combines perfectly with lavender and perennials, creating a modern natural style in the garden.
