Description

Allium "Globemaster" is an early-flowering perennial that impresses with the size of its stem and buds. The plant's flowering is vibrant and prolonged.

Appearance and Aroma
The leaves are strap-like, deep green, about 80 cm long. This variety has exclusively basal leaves. The plant's stem is straight, without angles or irregularities. A large inflorescence is located at the top of each stem.

The inflorescence is presented in the form of an odorless ball. A large number of small, simple-shaped flowers are attached to green stalks. The thin stalks arrange themselves in a circle, creating a so-called framework.



Planting (Allium Globemaster)
Allium should be planted in compositions with low-growing plants. This solution will help preserve the beauty of the area after the Allium foliage turns yellow.

Planting time. Early spring and autumn planting are suitable for this variety.

Planting location. Allium is undemanding regarding its location. It only needs to receive enough sunlight and nutrients.

Planting depth. Since the roots of this Allium variety are large, the planting depth reaches 10-15 cm.

Care. With the onset of cold weather, the soil around the flower bulb should be mulched. In spring and summer, the flower needs to be watered, increasing the amount of water during heat and budding periods. To achieve prolonged flowering, it is recommended to loosen the soil around the plant's bulb and fertilize it. When choosing fertilizers for the Globemaster variety, avoid fresh organic matter.
