Description

Allium "Lavender Bubbles" - these are charming plants for a rock garden or herb garden. When the leaves are scratched, they smell like onions, as they belong to the onion family. Butterflies and honey bees adore the sweet nectar of the flowers, but deer and rabbits stay away from this perennial beauty.

Towards the end of summer, this beautiful perennial enlivens the garden with its wonderful bubble-shaped flowers. Dark purple flower balls appear above attractive glaucous-green leaves. The leaf blades curl and twist, giving them extra appeal. Compared to the popular variety Millenium, Lavender Bubbles blooms later and has a darker shade of purple. Like other alliums, Lavender Bubbles is unpretentious, easy to grow, and resistant to deer and rabbits.

Planting
The variety is undemanding to both soil and care. It can be grown among grass and small blooms, as well as in the company of large-flowered plants.

Planting time. Planting allium can begin as early as the beginning of September. It stops 2-3 weeks before the first persistent frosts.

Planting location. The variety prefers a sunny location and nutritious light soil.
