Description
Allium moly is a compact perennial ornamental onion from the Amaryllidaceae family, valued for its bright, sunny blooms and low maintenance. Despite its delicate size, the plant looks very impressive and is perfect for flower beds, borders, rockeries, and natural garden compositions. Narrow green leaves beautifully surround upright flower stalks, creating a neat ornamental bush.
During flowering, the plant forms thin, strong stems up to 30–40 cm high, topped with hemispherical inflorescences about 8 cm in diameter. The inflorescences consist of many star-shaped flowers of a rich yellow color, resembling a bright summer fireworks display. Flowering begins in May and continues into June, filling the garden with warm, sunny hues. Allium moly is characterized by good winter hardiness, is easily grown in sunny areas, and looks impressive both in group plantings and in combination with other perennials.
Planting Allium Moly, like any other ornamental onion, does not require special effort or specific knowledge. Proven planting material is placed in pre-prepared moistened holes, covered with soil, and additionally mulched. Planting time. The autumn period is ideal for planting allium bulbs. From mid-September to early October, the soil has the optimal temperature for the bulbs to take root. Planting depth. Planting is done at a depth that depends on the size of the bulbs themselves. As a rule, bulbs are deepened to a depth equal to two their sizes. Care. Allium Moly is unpretentious in care. Watering is only necessary in conditions of severe drought. Periodic loosening and weeding are the main procedures performed during the growing season. Planting location. Bulbs are planted in well-lit areas. Ornamental onion prefers to grow under constant sunlight. There are no special soil requirements; it should be loose and well-drained.Specifications

Niet mijn eerste bestelling bij deze shop, de kwaliteit is tot nu toe steeds goed. De bol voelt stevig en vol aan, geen spoor van rot of schimmel. Kan niet wachten tot hij in het voorjaar opkomt en bloeit.
De medewerker gaf antwoord zonder een standaardtekst te gebruiken. Ik hoefde dezelfde vraag niet meerdere keren te stellen.
Het plantmateriaal bleef de eerste dagen stabiel. De stengels bleven stevig en zakten niet verder weg. De plant wende geleidelijk aan normaal licht.
Ik was vooral geïnteresseerd in Allium moly. De pot en stengels waren afzonderlijk ondersteund. Er was nauwelijks aarde uit de pot gekomen.
De nette toestand van de scheuten viel als eerste op. De aanwezige bladeren waren onderweg nauwelijks geschuurd. Bij het uitpakken zag ik geen duidelijke zwakke plek.
