Description

Allium "White Giant" is a tall plant with inflorescences reaching up to 20 cm in diameter. A thick, long flower stalk emerges from a bulb that previously produced strap-like green leaves. The basal leaves are about 5-10 cm wide and significantly differ in length from the stem, which exceeds them by 2-3 times. The main feature of Allium White Giant is the shape and size of its inflorescences. The giant sphere, consisting of many small white star-shaped flowers, looks very elegant and delicate.

Planting (Allium White Giant)
Planting time. Planting should be done in autumn, mid-September to early October.

Planting location. For growing allium, a bright place with fertile, well-drained soil is suitable. The plant grows well, so the planting area should be spacious.

Planting depth. Bulbs are planted at a depth equal to at least two times the size of the bulb itself. On average, the depth is about 10-15 cm.

Care. Allium White Giant is unpretentious in care. The main actions to be performed in care are loosening the soil, freeing it from weeds, and mulching during the wintering period. Watering is required only in conditions of severe drought.
