Description
a spectacular evergreen groundcover variety with a dense creeping crown and soft, rich green needles. Thanks to its low growth and ability to spread widely, the plant forms a dense coniferous carpet that looks decorative in the garden all year round.
The main advantage of 'Repanda' is its beautiful crown shape. Long, flexible shoots grow horizontally, slightly overlapping each other and creating dense, picturesque layers. The needles are small, soft, green with a slight silver tint; in cold weather, they may acquire noble bronze tones.
The variety is compact in height: an adult plant usually reaches about 30–50 cm, while gradually spreading up to 1.5–2.5 m in width. Thanks to this, 'Repanda' perfectly covers open soil areas and can be used as an alternative to traditional groundcover plants.
The juniper thrives in sun and light partial shade. It prefers loose, moderately dry or moderately moist, always well-drained soil. After rooting, it is quite resistant to short-term drought and does not require complex care. Stagnation of water near the roots should be avoided.
