Crocus vernus mix – a vibrant mixture of low-growing bulbous plants, combining delicate white, blue, yellow, and purple hues, creating the effect of a motley spring carpet. These elegant flowers are among the first to bloom in the garden immediately after the snow melts, filling the area with bright colors and a spring mood. The flowering period lasts from March to April, and the flowers, up to 5 cm in diameter, look spectacular both in group plantings and on alpine hills, lawns, or along garden paths. The plants are compact, reaching up to 15 cm in height, and grow well in sunny or slightly shaded areas with moderately moist, loose, and well-drained soil. The bulbs are planted in autumn – in September-October – to a depth of 5-10 cm. The mix is easily propagated by dividing bulb nests once every 3-5 years. The plants are highly frost-resistant, withstand harsh winters (hardiness zones 3–4), and do not require digging up for winter.
