Description

Hydrangea macrophylla "Switch" — is an exquisite variety of Dutch selection, known for its innovative ornamental plants. Thanks to its high decorative appeal, unpretentiousness, and unusual flower color, this variety quickly gained popularity among gardeners. Throughout the season, the large inflorescences gradually change color from creamy white to rich pink, creating the effect of a living painting in the garden.

For planting Hydrangea 'Switch', it is recommended to choose wind-protected areas with light partial shade or morning sun. When planting in groups, leave about 0.6 m between bushes to ensure good air circulation. The plant needs regular watering, especially during dry periods: the soil should remain constantly slightly moist, without drying out. In spring, feed the hydrangea with nitrogen fertilizers for active growth, and in summer use potassium-phosphorus compounds that stimulate abundant and prolonged flowering. Pruning is carried out in early spring, removing weak, old, and damaged shoots, and also performing shaping pruning to maintain the beautiful form of the bush.
