Der Wurzelbereich war feucht, aber nicht vernässt. Die Pflanze kam ohne sichtbare Transportschäden an. Vorhandene Blätter waren unterwegs kaum aufgerieben worden.

Description
Juniperus procumbens "Nana" - is a charming dwarf evergreen juniper with a dense creeping crown and attractive bluish-green needles. Thanks to its low growth and long, picturesquely spreading shoots, the plant gradually turns into a dense coniferous carpet that retains its decorative appeal all year round.
“Nana” looks especially beautiful among stones, on slopes and retaining walls. Its branches naturally spread along the surface, and when planted on an elevation, they elegantly hang down, creating the effect of a green coniferous cascade. This form makes the variety an excellent choice for rockeries, alpine gardens, and modern landscape compositions.
The needles are short, dense, slightly prickly, bluish-green or glaucous-green. Young growths are characterized by a fresher and lighter color, making the crown appear voluminous and textured.
The plant develops slowly and maintains compact dimensions. When mature, it usually reaches about 30–50 cm in height, while spreading to approximately 1–1.5 m in width. Thanks to this, a single bush can beautifully cover a significant area of soil over time.
For planting, a sunny location or light partial shade is recommended. In a well-lit area, the crown forms denser, and the needle color becomes more expressive. Juniper prefers well-drained soil without prolonged waterlogging. After rooting, it tolerates dry periods quite well.
“Nana” is characterized by high frost resistance and unpretentiousness. The plant practically does not need formative pruning, as it independently creates a beautiful natural creeping crown.
Juniperus procumbens “Nana” will be an excellent choice for those who want to obtain a durable evergreen plant with minimal care. The variety combines particularly effectively with decorative stone, gravel, dwarf pines, thujas, other junipers, and flowering perennials.
