Description
Picea glauca "Conica Perfecta" - is an ornamental variety of Canadian spruce with a dense, regular conical crown and soft, dense needles of a rich light green color. Thanks to its slow growth and naturally symmetrical shape, the plant maintains a neat appearance without the need for regular pruning, making it an ideal choice for small gardens and decorative compositions.
When mature, the spruce reaches 2–3 m in height. It prefers sunny areas or light partial shade, fertile, moderately moist, and well-drained soils. It tolerates winter frosts well and, with proper care, remains decorative throughout the year.
The variety is excellent for single plantings, rock gardens, alpine slides, decorating entrance areas, coniferous compositions, and growing in containers.
