The wrapping came away cleanly during unpacking. The packing kept the delicate parts away from the cardboard. The process was simple without feeling impersonal.

Description
Pinus mugo "Mughus" - This is a spectacular evergreen coniferous shrub with a dense, spreading crown and rich green needles. The variety is valued for its natural compact form, high frost resistance, unpretentiousness, and ability to maintain decorativeness all year round. It is excellent for rock gardens, alpine slides, coniferous compositions, slope stabilization, and landscaping small gardens.
The plant forms numerous strong shoots directed upwards and sideways, eventually creating a dense, wide shrub-like crown. The needles are stiff, dense, dark green, and arranged in pairs. In spring, the numerous vertical young growths—bright "candles"—look especially decorative, effectively contrasting with the mature dark needles.
"Mughus" grows relatively slowly. A mature bush typically reaches 1.5–2 m in height and 2–3 m in width, and under favorable conditions, individual specimens may eventually grow up to 2.5–3 m. The plant tolerates shaping well, so its size and crown density can be adjusted if necessary.
For planting, it is best to choose open, sunny areas. The pine is undemanding regarding soil fertility and can grow in fairly poor, sandy, and stony soils. The main conditions are good drainage and the absence of prolonged water stagnation. After rooting, the plant tolerates dry periods well. One of the important advantages of the variety is its high frost resistance and hardiness.
Pinus mugo "Mughus" looks especially beautiful among decorative stones, gravel, and ground cover plants. It can be used as a standalone plant, planted in groups, combined with junipers, thujas, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials.

This is my second order from this shop, and again everything arrived in perfect condition. I've been searching for this exact variety for a while, so this felt like a lucky find. Will be ordering more once I see how this one settles in.

I am not drawing conclusions from the first few days. The main item in this parcel was Pinus mugo mughus (P15). There is no reason to force a quick assessment.
