Fresh plants from European nurseries
Description
“Pomegranate” is a fruit shrub / small tree with a distinctive appearance, beautiful texture, and harmonious silhouette. The deciduous green foliage emphasizes the natural seasonal rhythm and creates a calm background for flowering or fruiting. Flowering occurs in spring and early summer and reveals a palette characteristic of the variety. The plant forms edible fruits; the fruit color is “Variety-specific”; ripening usually lasts from September to November.
For the plant to maintain a neat shape and expressiveness, it is enough to provide it with a suitable place and consistent care. Optimal lighting – sun; a warm and, if possible, protected place. Soil – fertile, well-drained; slightly acidic-neutral. Watering – regular during rooting, flowering, and fruit setting; without waterlogging. Frost resistance – low-medium, usually around -10…-15 °C; in the Netherlands, a protected place/container is desirable.
The variety is equally appropriate for decorative and practical plantings, provided its scale and growth habit are taken into account beforehand. Best use scenarios – fruit garden; compact/heat-loving crops – large container. The main advantages of “Pomegranate” are an edible harvest, extended fruiting period, self-fertility, suitability for container cultivation, and the architectural silhouette of a mature plant. To maintain its shape, it is sufficient to adhere to the following pruning scheme: formative and sanitary; timing and intensity depend on the crop and type of fruiting. Pollination feature – self-fertile; insects improve fruit set.

Not my first order from this shop, and the quality has been consistent so far. Happy to find a nursery stocking such interesting varieties. Will be ordering more once I see how this one settles in.
The plant looked prepared for shipping rather than freshly disturbed. The first thing I noticed was the clean condition of the shoots. The experience matched what I expected from the description.
After planting, the plant did not show obvious stress. So far, routine care has been enough. This order included Pomegranate.
The parcel was packed neatly rather than filled at random. The wrapping came away cleanly during unpacking. It was a small point, but I noticed it straight away.

Ich würde mich freuen, wenn das Sortiment an blühenden Sträuchern in Zukunft noch etwas größer wird. Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden – alle…
