Description

Rhododendron obt."Pink Spider"  - this is an unusual decorative variety of Japanese azalea with original narrow petals forming elegant star-shaped flowers. During flowering, the compact bush is abundantly covered with bright pink inflorescences, which give the plant an exotic and very impressive look.

The bush has a dense rounded shape and reaches 60–90 cm in height. Small dark green foliage retains its decorative appeal almost all year round. The variety prefers semi-shady areas with acidic, loose, well-drained, and moderately moist soil.

The plant is perfectly suited for heather gardens, rockeries, borders, container cultivation, and creating bright compositions with coniferous cultures. It has good winter hardiness and, with proper care, annually delights with abundant and prolonged flowering.
