The plant adjusted to normal light gradually. The early response after planting has been calm and even. It was a small point, but I noticed it straight away.

Description
Rhododendron yakushimanum "Fantastica" is the most popular variety bred in Japan. It is attractive with large, incredibly beautiful inflorescences. A perennial evergreen shrub with slow growth, it grows up to 100 cm tall, with a dense, rounded crown of upright shoots up to 140 cm in diameter. Leaves are elongated, up to 10 cm long, about 5 cm wide. Green in color, dense. Buds are rich red, and as they open, the flowers acquire lighter shades, large, up to 7 cm in diameter, gathered in large inflorescences of 10-12 pieces. Petals are wavy, the flower's edge is bright pink, the flower itself is white-pink. All petals of the flower are sprinkled with dots - patterns. High frost resistance, up to -25 °C.
Planting rhododendron is preferred in sunny areas or partial shade, protected from strong winds. The soil for the plant should be neither too light nor too heavy. The shrub tolerates drought and excess moisture poorly. The soil acidity level should be within 4-5.5 pH.
