Rhododendron yakushimanum "Percy Wiseman" is an elegant and unpretentious compact shrub with a dense crown of dark green leaves. Delicate pink flowers gradually change color, becoming creamy white with a yellowish center. Each inflorescence looks like it's composed of flowers of different shades, creating a chameleon effect in the garden.
This variety was obtained by crossing Rhododendron yakushimanum with other frost-resistant and profusely flowering rhododendrons. The result is an extremely hardy and striking variety, combining a smooth change in flower color and compact growth.
Shape: Compact, dense shrub with a rounded form.
Size: Adult rhododendron can reach 1.2-1.5 m in height and 1.5-1.8 m in width.
Light: Grows best in partial shade. It can tolerate diffused sunlight, but excessive heat and direct sunlight can cause leaf burn. It is important to protect it from strong winds, especially in winter.
Soil: For planting Rhododendron Percy Wiseman, acidic (pH 4.5–6.0), loose, well-drained mixtures with peat, coniferous humus, and leaf mold are ideal.

Bought another Rhododendron. The quality of the plant is excellent. Both the root and the leaves are healthy and clean. And it was packed perfectly.

The reply arrived while I was still deciding what to order. Order confirmation was handled politely and clearly. That was enough to leave a good first impression.

The first thing I noticed was the clean condition of the shoots. This order included Rhododendron yakushimanum "Percy Wiseman". I found no obvious weak point while unpacking it.
