Description

Allium flavum is a herbaceous perennial of the bulbous type, captivating with its amazing coloring.

The plant reaches a height of 30 to 40 cm. The leaves are narrow, rough, semi-cylindrical, dark green, forming an impressive basal rosette. For cultivation, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas with clayey or stony soil.

Flowering occurs in early summer and lasts about 30 days. Small, bell-shaped yellow flowers hang on thin, elongated pedicels. Stamens and pistils protrude strongly from the perianth. Anthers are sunny yellow. The inflorescences are loose, umbellate.
