Description
Malus domestica "Elstar" is a popular autumn variety, valued for its aromatic, juicy fruits with a harmonious sweet and sour taste. The variety is characterized by abundant fruiting and good apple storage. The fruits are medium-sized, weighing up to 150 g, and ripen in September–October. They are suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and juicing. Good pollinators include Gala, Golden Delicious, and Idared varieties. For cultivation, it is recommended to choose a sunny location with fertile soil. Frost resistance is moderate, so in cold regions, the plant may require additional protection. Regular watering and timely pruning contribute to increased yield and good tree development.

I was a bit worried during shipping, but the young tree arrived in great shape. The little tree looks well-branched, with healthy bark and firm buds. Can't wait to watch it grow over the coming years.

The first stage is complete, so the next changes will take time. There is no reason to force a quick assessment. I checked Apple Tree 'Elstar' (P15) first after opening the box.

The stems remained firm instead of drooping further. The early response after planting has been calm and even. The root area settled without needing extra handling.
